Airtag

The Fresh 'n Rebel brand offers low-cost AirTags as a good alternative to the classic 35€ Apple AirTags. We’ve already lost collars with our old 35€ tags, so we’d rather lose 7€ (the price of the Fresh 'n Rebel) instead. Yes, because the cats frequently lose our collars. The main difference from Apple’s version is that it lacks centimeter-level location precision, and the battery life might be shorter.

Version 2 on the left, version 1 on the right

The form factor is different from Apple’s round design, as the Fresh 'n Rebel one is square. All AirTag collars sold on Amazon are round. I opened Fusion 360 and modeled a case to match the Fresh 'n Rebel’s form factor. I added a small splash of color to each case to differentiate between the cats.

Cocomobil

I created a Playmobil-style miniature for a 4-year-old's Christmas gift, complete with intricate details. The house features acrylic paintings and a floor made from ice cream sticks, while the upper floor is crafted from fabric. The roof and pool are illuminated with LEDs, and the interior of the house has its own lighting system with a long-lasting battery life (powered by AA batteries). For convenience, the battery compartment is removable, making it easy to replace the batteries when needed.

I wanted to test the new Kling AI 1.6 model on 12/23/2024, it's incredibly efficient, even stunning. I imagine the toy industry, like Playmobil, training models to animate their own universes. Or a plug-and-play system to animate children's creations. This will also concern the giant LEGO.

Heavy-duty support

Creating a base to hold circular weightlifting equipment. The display panel is placed on the street in front of a business. It should withstand winds over 50km/h in gusts without falling. Design with Fusion 360

The GPT4-o vision model allowed me to determine the opening angle of the panel to input into Fusion 360.

Broken umbrella repair

During a storm, the umbrella did not withstand a gust of wind. A piece of plastic broke at the level of an axis in the middle of the carbon fiber rod. I destroyed the old damaged part with a Dremel, then I remade an almost identical piece that will be inserted onto the rod's axis. I used a simple tip to fit into the axis. Everything works again, and I've made some savings for this great 'Bruno St Hilaire' umbrella.

The umbrella unfolds correctly, it's perfect ! 🌂

Of course I cut off the excess of the tip that would have risked perforating the umbrella's fabric.

Vacuum Adapter

Custom adapter for a vacuum cleaner. The request was made by a jewelry merchant to facilitate the cleaning of the interior display cases of jewelry, which are, I must say, difficult to access. Software used: Fusion 360.

Le Plafonnier

Black acrylic paint and sponging with a copper-colored paint sponge to give an old metal look. The diffusion of light works wonderfully between all the slats.

Haunted House

I painted various things on the house, the wooden door, the purple roof. I used basic acrylic paint.

Quad color Unicorns

Testing the AMS Lite system from Bambu Lab. The 4-color printing of the unicorn is sublime. The waste produced by the Bambu Lab is very significant, representing 90% of the weight of the 6cm x 7cm figurine.
